
BDMLR are holding a public Seal Awareness Session at St Mary's lighthouse, Whitley Bay, NE26 4RS on September 1st 2012 in cooperation with North Tyneside Council.
The North East coastline is home to many seals and members of the public often see them on the seashore. In a two hour session beginning at 11.00am, BDMLR volunteers will talk about the two specis of seals seen in region and explain what you should, or shouldn't do if you see one on the shore.
