CANADIAN SEAL CULL
| "BDMLR does not support the necessity
for a seal cull or the methods of culling allowed by the Canadian Government
in authorising their annual cull of seals. BDMLR is also strongly opposed to the international trade in seal pelts and we support the aims of IFAW and other concerned groups in bringing about an end to the culling of seals.” BDMLR recently commissioned a report, "Seal Fisheries Interactions" by Susan Wilson.
